Sunday, February 8th – St Louis Indoor Springs at Washington University – details will follow from your rower’s coach
Sunday, February 15th – Spring 2015 dues paid in full/financial assistance applications turned in – All returning novice and varsity rowers
January 30 – February 8 – JL spirit gear and varsity uniform on-line store open – see email for details
Saturday, February 21st – Erg-A-Thon at the boathouse
Sunday, February 22nd 2-4 PM – Introductory Practice for new novices at the boathouse
March 3-9 – Sew Sporty spirit wear and novice uniform on-line store open
Saturday, March 14th 4-6 PM – Meet and Greet for all varsity and novice families at the boathouse
Saturday, March 21st – OKC Junior Invitational Regatta (Oklahoma City, OK) – select varsity rowers only – depart early Friday (3/20)
Saturday, April 4th – Camp Randall Race (Creve Coeur Lake) – ALL rowers
Saturday, April 11th – Cincinnati High School Invitational (Cincinnati, OH) – varsity rowers only – depart early Friday (4/10)
Saturday, April 18th – Madison WI Regatta (Madison, WI) – ALL rowers – depart early Friday (4/17)
Sunday, May 3rd – Indy High School Invite (Indianapolis, IN) – ALL rowers – depart early Saturday (5/2)
Saturday/Sunday, May 16 & 17th – Midwest Junior Rowing Championships (Cincinnati, OH) – ALL rowers – depart early Friday (5/15)
Sunday, May 31st – SLRC Juniors Awards Banquet and Auction – (location TBD) – All rowers and families are invited
Friday-Sunday, June 12-14th – Juniors National Championships (Sarasota, FL) – select varsity rowers only
The SLRC Boosters committee was created specifically to support the SLRC Junior rowing program; its members are the parents of the current Junior team members. Boosters activities include coordinating travel plans for the Juniors, providing chaperones and drivers for trips, conducting fund-raising activities specifically related to the Junior program, providing awards and recognition banquets and, in a variety of other ways, assisting the coaches in their work with the Juniors.
